We recently returned from our epic trip to Europe. We did pre wedding shoots in Budapest, Slovenia & Austria. In the next couple of weeks we will be sharing with you our experiences in these beautiful destinations and perhaps you can find some inspiration for your own pre wedding photoshoot!

For our post below we visited Lake Bled in the beautiful country of Slovenia! 

Coming from Budapest after a 2 day shoot there, we took an 8 hour bus ride to the beautiful lake bled. After arrival we spent a day doing a site recce of around the lake by electric bike. The distance around the lake is about 6km proved to have many beautiful vantage points of The Church of the Assumption nestled on a small island in the middle of the lake. Newly wed locals often have their weddings there. The groom has to carry his bride up 99 steps to the church building after a short boat ride. 

We also visited the nearby Lake Bohinj, about a 30min drive from Lake Bled. If you would like a view of the mountains lined with beautiful foliage, Lake Bohinj is perfect.
