4 Breath-taking Overseas Destinations for an Outdoor Pre-Wedding Photoshoot

While Singapore may have countless gorgeous locations to have a pre-wedding photoshoot, there is something about taking your story overseas that adds a little more adventure and thrill to your regular pre-wedding photoshoot.

We had the privilege of helping various couples document their love story overseas. During our journeys, we had the opportunity to view countless stunning sceneries overseas.

Here are 4 of our favourite destinations for the perfect pre-wedding photoshoot.

New Zealand

If you were a fan of the Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit and the Chronicles of Narnia, then you are going to love the natural sceneries in New Zealand.

With vast land, snow-capped mountains in winter, exquisite lavender and jaw-dropping blue lakes during lakes, warm autumn foliage and even cherry blossoms in spring, New Zealand is an excellent place for a pre-wedding photoshoot with a remarkable natural backdrop.

Whether you want a nature, beach or sunset pre-wedding photoshoot, New Zealand has various popular locations for you to choose from. Here are 4 of our favourites:

·       Lake Tekapo for a Nature-themed photoshoot

·       Hobbit movie set at Matamata for Hobbit-inspired pictures

·       Matarangi Beach for a beach-themed photoshoot

·       Wanaka for natural sceneries with mountains in the background

Japan

Not only is the land of the rising sun a popular tourist destination with loads of natural sceneries, but it also has numerous romantic areas for the perfect overseas pre-wedding photoshoot.

Japan has locations for a pre-wedding photoshoot all-year round. You could opt for a Kimono-themed photoshoot with Japanese palaces and gardens or even a nature-themed pre-wedding photoshoot with gorgeous flora and fauna in the background.

If you want to get a bit more creative with your pictures, you could pay attention to the Japanese seasons. Here are the best places to have your pre-wedding photoshoot for each season:

·       Spring: Arashiyama Bamboo Forest

·       Summer: Okinawa beaches

·       Autumn: Shosei-en Garden, Kyoto

·       Winter: Shirakawa-Go Village

Alternatively, you could head to Tokyo DisneySea or Tokyo Disneyland for a Disney-themed photoshoot to relive your childhood!

Slovenia

Go beyond the borders of Asia-Pacific to Slovenia for a European-themed pre-wedding photoshoot and be marvelled by the beauty of nature in this amazing country. Located in central Europe, Slovenia is best known for its mountainous sceneries and Venetian-style coastlines.

The unique thing about shooting an outdoor pre-wedding photoshoot of Slovenia is its abundance of earthly elements that complement its baroque architecture.

Here are some interesting locations in Slovenia to have your overseas pre-wedding photoshoot:

·       Lake Bled for a nature-themed photoshoot

·       Bled Castle for a Victorian-style shoot

·       Predjama Castle for a picturesque photoshoot inspired by Game of Thrones

·       Solkan Bridge for a backdrop of the breath-taking Soca river

Bali

One of the top overseas destinations in Southeast Asia for couples, the tropical island of Bali is known for its natural scenarios and laid-back beaches. From waterfalls, beaches, temples as well as other natural hidden gems, Bali is a great destination for a romantic photoshoot for both dusk and dawn.

If you intend to head to Bali for your pre-wedding photoshoot, we recommend that you take advantage of the vast land by having an outdoor photoshoot.

Bali might just be an island but there are various hotspots for an overseas pre-wedding photoshoot. Here are 3 of our favourites:

·       Get an epic view of the sunrise at Mount Batur

·       Enjoy a romantic wonderland at Ayana Resort and Spa

·       Enjoy a natural waterfall in the background at Tukad Cepung Waterfall
