FAQs (Actual Day Photography):
Q: Does my coverage have to be continuous ? (I.e. if there is a break in the afternoon before the dinner banquet)
A: No, the coverage does not have to be continuous and it can be split between the morning and evening segments. My recommendations would be to split the hours equally between morning and night. The rest time in the middle of the day would not be accounted into the total service hours. (Min 3 Hours of rest time needed in order to split coverage)
Q: What time will the photographer arrive?
A: Typically I start the coverage at the Bride’s house and begin by documenting the bridal make up session. I would suggest that I arrive half way through the make up session. Typical bridal hair and make up takes from 1.5hours to 2 hours.
Q: How many photos will you take throughout the day?
A: For a typical 10 Hour day you can expect to receive 800 - 1,000 images. That said it is also dependent on the nature and pace of the activities.
Q: Will you edit all my photos?
A: Yes. All photos will be individually color corrected and returned in Hi Resolution JPEG Files.
Q: Can we have a secondary photographer?
A: Yes we can. There are advantages to such an arrangement as the second photographer can start his/her coverage at the groom’s place and document the day from the Groom’s perspective. A secondary photographer also captures alternative angles during the day and provides additional perspectives of the wedding day.
Q: Do you include Videography in your package:
A: Yes, we provide both pre wedding & actual day videography in our packages as well.
Q: What are the payment terms like?
A: Payment terms will be 50% upon confirmation and 50% on the wedding day itself.
Q: When can we expect to receive the final images:
A: Final images from your wedding should be delivered to you within 2 Months of the wedding date.
Q: If my wedding is split between 2 days, will there be a split day surcharge:
A: Yes. $500 Split day surcharge will apply.
Q: Will you return all my wedding images in other file formats? i.e. RAW, TIFF, DNG .CR2, .ARW
A: Final wedding images will be delivered in high resolution JPEG files only.
Q: Could you describe your Photography style:
A: I adopt a documentary approach to photography, focusing on the intimate and emotional moments during the wedding day.
FAQ (Pre Wedding Photography):
Q: Do we have to bring props?
A: Props are most welcome. For props I would recommend to bring items which tell a story about your relationship. If you need ideas, I would be glad to give some suggestions.
Q: Do we have to pose?
A: For our pre wedding sessions, we will focus mainly on authentic and heartfelt moments. Therefore there will be very minimal amount of posing. We will however, focus on activities and conversations to bring your mind off the camera to focus instead on your relationship with one another thereby allowing me to capture genuine interactions and emotions.
Q: Will you “Photoshop” my photos for me?
A: I believe that beauty from the heart and it is genuine love which is captured in a photograph is what makes it beautiful. We will color correct each and every image with the utmost care and eye for detail to match the mood of the moment when the image was capture.
Q: Do you work with any bridal boutiques?
A: Yes. We work with Silhouette The Atelier & BQueens.
Q: What sort of footwear should I wear during the shoot?
A: For the bride, I recommend that you bring your heels but only wear them when we take photos which feature the shoes. At other times, you can simply wear sport shoes or flip flops which you are comfortable with. These will remain hidden below the dress. (That is assuming that your dress is long enough to do so :)
Q:Do you provide Hair and Make-up?
A: Yes we do. We will provide you with various contacts during our meet up with you.
Q: Do you do overseas pre wedding photography?:
A: We provide bespoke pre wedding photography at any location in the world of your choice. We will provide full itinerary planning for the trip. So all you need to do is let us know your dream location and we will do the rest.
Q: Do you provide albums/prints in the package?:
A: Yes we provide, luxury flush mount albums, wall canvas and much more.
Q: Do you do studio photography?
A: We believe in telling stories through our images. Location plays a big part of the storytelling process and adds depth and nuance the images we create. Hence for our pre wedding sessions, they will be done at outdoor/indoor locations of your choice in natural light. Ideas for locations can be where you first met, where you go on dates, your favorite activities etc just to list a few.
