The Holy Matrimony: Vows Beneath the Stained Glass
We kicked off the morning inside the main hall for the Holy Matrimony. The way the early light hits those historic stained-glass windows is incredible—it just bathes the entire aisle in this soft, clean glow.
Charlotte looked absolutely stunning walking down to a very emotional Benjamin. My favorite part of documentary-style wedding photography is just letting the moments breathe. There were no forced poses here; instead, I focused on capturing the quiet glances, the tight hand-squeezes, and the teary eyes in the pews. The sheer scale of the hall gave the photos a grand, epic feel while keeping the emotional focus entirely on their vows.
A Warm, Traditional Tea Ceremony

Instead of setting up rigid, overly technical lighting that breaks the atmosphere, I spent the afternoon hunting for candid moments—clinking glasses, big laughs during the speeches, and those quiet, stolen seconds where Ben and Charlotte just looked at each other amidst all the happy chaos.
The Couple Shoot: Clean Lines & Architectural Romance
Before wrapping up for the day, we slipped outside into the courtyards and cloister walls of CHIJMES for some quick couple portraits.
The afternoon sun had softened up perfectly, throwing beautiful, graphic shadows along those neo-classical corridors. CHIJMES is basically a playground if you love clean lines and classic architecture; it genuinely feels like you've stepped into a European courtyard right in the middle of downtown Singapore.
Benjamin and Charlotte were so relaxed by this point. We kept things moving naturally—just walking through the archways, sharing a laugh on the lawn, and letting the wind catch Charlotte’s veil.
